BRIO Child Restraints

In February 2008 we introduced the BRIO Zento convertible child restraint to New Zealand. 

Why was this so special? 

In Sweden children have been travelling rear-facing for decades, with very few deaths and serious injuries in traffic in the 0-5 year age group as a result.

Up until then no other child restraint on the New Zealand market could cater for children rear-facing much past the age of 12 months.  The BRIO Zento caters for a child in the rear-facing position for up to 3-5 years of age!

Swedish child restraints are designed differently with the Swedish tethering system and a stronger shell to cater for higher rear-facing weights.

A year down the track the sales of the BRIO Zento has exceeded expectations with New Zealand parents embracing the opportunity to keep their child safer for as long as possible.
